Wedding
Yesterday I went to a friend’s wedding. The groom and the best man were wearing suits with… white canvas tennis shoes. Oh, and the best man’s name? Christian.
To top it off, the officiator wore a white robe with symbols of every religion, including one that looked suspiciously like the Dharma logo.
So yeah, that was pretty awesome.

Picking Up a Book

Philosophy
While in my philosophy class the other day, my teacher was asking about the philosopher John Locke. She asked what Locke would say about our current economic situation. I said “Why do you find it so hard to believe??” and someone else responded “Why do you find it so easy?!?” It was awesome.

The Numbers
Recently someone told me about the Mega Millions Jackpot. I got a ticket with random numbers, and one with 4,8,15,16,23,42.
I won $150 with the cursed numbers.

Yesterday, I found out my friend for about a year and a half liked Lost. We had an instant relationship boost. Later we heard the song “Here comes the Sun”. Today, she texted me “mhmmm. Here comes the sun do do do do…oh wait. shes dead.” I responded with “Lolz. So we should drink alcohol in her memory. Oh wait. Jin died too.” OLAL

I was watching season 1, episode 14 of Dead Like Me, and “Michael Dawson” appeared as a yoga instructor. As much as I hated him on LOST, I was just begging fro him to start screaming WWWAAAAAALLLT!!!! I miss LOST so much. MLIL.

The other week, I was taking the SAT. My last name begins with a K and the seats were arranged in alphabetical order. As I was scanning the J-M list, imagine my shock when I saw “Locke, John”. I hope we end up going to the same college.

I am a receptionist at a car dealership, and I was talking to a couple guys who work in a different building. I asked them what are you guys doing?” One of them responded “we’re on a walkabout.” I started laughing.

a couple weeks ago, I was standing outside on my apartment’s balcony smoking a cigarette. the buildings are situated so that from my second story balcony I can see into the first floor apartment of the building behind mine. they had their blinds open, and a big screen tv, so I could see what they were watching. it only took one shot of the jungle for me to figure out they were watching Lost....

Tonight, I wanted to make Cuban Black Beans and Rice. The recipe called for two cans of black beans, but I only had one, so I substituted a can of white beans. As I mixed the black beans and the white beans together in the frying pan, I decided to re-name the recipe “Jacob and The Man in Black… Beans and Rice.”

So, I was watching Angel. You know, that Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off show? Anyway, I’m reading through the credits. What do I see? Josh Holloway is listed as “Good Looking Guy.” It turns out, Josh Holloway, the actor who played Sawyer, played a vampire who didn’thave any lines and whose only role was to be killed in episode 1 on Angel. Today I was watching an episode of the show Veronica Mars and there was a scene in which a few characters were at a college party. In the background at this party, I thought I saw Sawyer hanging around, looking awesome…to my disappointment, it was only someone who looked like him. On September 22 I had my year 12 muck-up day at school. We could dress up as whatever we wanted to…I came dressed in my two obsessions - half Harry Potter and half LOST. I was upset that no one understood the LOST part of my costume, as none of my friends watch LOST. I made them listen to me, while I was explaining how and why my costume was LOST-like.
